Canoe and Rafting Safety Instruction

  1. Whilst on the water, always wear a life jacket. Life jacket should be worn and tied properly.
  2. There should be no more people in one vehicle as it is intended.
  3. Getting into a canoe takes place when the boat is placed in the water parallel to the shore. To get into your canoe have someone hold it steady, so that it won’t tur nover.
  4. To keep the boat steady, stay in your place in the boat, don’t  stand up or lean over the sides of the boat.
  5. Be careful on rapids always keep the whecle  paralelly water strеam.
  6. Keep away from fallen trees and steep banks (rocks) it is dengerous.
  7. It is not advisible to grab onto fallen trees or branches in the river when boat is in movement.
  8. Leaving the boat do not jump. It is forbiden to jump from the boat into the water for swimming.
  9. Do not keep sharp tools and glass ware in the raft.
  10. Do not use alcoholic drinks, psychotropic or narcotic substances in the time of rafting.
